A2iA, Bull introduce check truncation service in Brazil

Artificial Intelligence and Image Analysis (A2iA), a France-based software company and European IT supplier Bull have integrated of the electronic check truncation solution (Check 21) at Brazilian financial services provider Banco Banrisul.

The solution is based on A2iA CheckReader’s recognition technology to meet the requirements regarding the imaging standard established by Federação Brasileira de Bancos, the organisation which represents the Brazilian banks. A2iA CheckReader automatically identifies all the compulsory fields from the check image and integrates its proprietary technology to respond to the Image Quality Assurance requirements of the truncation regulation.
