Dutch financial services company ABN AMRO has chosen CBA’s IBAS Global Trade Finance Factory (IBAS GTF) offering to deploy the latter’s financial services at its headquarters and in its international branches. CBA is a Norwegian software company which provides banking administration services.

Under the terms of the deal, both parties aim to offer trade finance services to ABN AMRO’s global customers using a centralized system, situated in the Netherlands.

IBAS GTF is an IT service that is set to offer several capabilities and business coverage. Thus, financial institutions are allowed to bring new products to market in multiple geographic areas by using a unique method of managing the business for any market it enters, whilst also adapting to local market requirements.

In addition, IBAS GTF is expected to enable a number of integrations on behalf of the bank, such as the core banking system, SWIFT Messages, the Bolero messaging system and all of the bank’s front-end systems.
