Under the terms of the agreement, Bytes Managed Solutions will overhaul Absa’s ATM network across South Africa over a three-year period and will deliver IT services and support for the next five years.
As a result, Absa customers will gain access to NCR SelfServ ATMs, including NCR SelfServ 25 and NCR SelfServ 26 cash dispense and services ATMs, as well as NCR SelfServ 34 function ATMs, running NCR APTRA software and the NCR Gasper monitoring service.
In addition, NCR’s software will also be able to allow banks to integrate online and mobile banking with the ATM channel. Absa will also integrate NCRs Gasper monitoring service, enabling it to view the entire ATM estate from one single point.
