Banco Bradesco signs on for Western Unions services

Brazilian bank Banco Bradesco has reached an agreement with global money transfer services provider Western Union to offer Western Union transfer services at its locations in Brazil.

Under the terms of the contract, account holders and walk-in clients of Banco Bradesco will be able to send and receive consumer-to-consumer international money transfers in person.

The agreement comes as an attempt on behalf of Western Union to expand further into the banking channels in Brazil.

The Western Union Money Transfer services are available in Brazil via an agent network that currently includes more than 5,800 locations.
