Bank Freedom signs up for the surcharge-free MoneyPass ATM network

Thursday 19 August 2010 11:46 CET | News

US-based financial services provider Bank Freedom, a subsidiary of Prepaid Card, has entered a partnership with Elan Financial Services, a provider of ATM and debit card processing services

Under the deal, the bank’s prepaid cardholders will gain access to the surcharge-free MoneyPass ATMs located throughout the US. Previously, cardholders had to pay a surcharge-fee, ranging between USD 1 and USD 3.5, to the ATM machine owner every time they initiated a cash withdrawal.

Bank Freedom’s prepaid cardholders can locate a MoneyPass surcharge-free ATM by visiting the bank’s website and clicking on the MoneyPass logo. Customers can also request the ATM locator page to send the ATM address via mobile or view and print driving instructions on the spot.

MoneyPass is a network of Elan Financial Services that provides surcharge-free access at more than 19,000 ATMs across the US.
