Bank Mandiri expands partnership with Ingenico in Indonesia

French-based payment services provider Ingenico has extended its partnership with Indonesian financial services company Bank Mandiri to provide the latter with an additional 40.000 units of EFT930G payment terminals in 2011 and early 2012.

This new order follows a previous selection by Bank Mandiri of 15.000 Ingenico terminals placed earlier in 2011m under the terms of a business partnership which debuted in 2010.

Bank Mandiri offers a range of banking products and services and financial solutions to its customers ranging from individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises to corporations and Government entities. The Bank has already deployed 47.000 payment terminals though rental schemes to a local outsourcing company, with various brands of payment terminals, including Ingenico.

With this new project, Bank Mandiri aims to further penetrate the retail market where the deployment of payment terminals targets up to 200.000 units within the coming years.
