Bank of China sides with BNY Mellon for remittance service

Financial services company BNY Mellon has signed a contract with the US-based branch of financial services provider Bank of China to provide the latter with a web-based remittance service.

Based on the Remit Worldwide feature offered by BNY Mellon Treasury Services, the service aims to allow customers in the US to remit funds to any Bank of China location.

Remit Worldwide enables customers of client banks to remit funds to beneficiaries via BNY Mellons integration of ACH, SWIFT messaging, and correspondent banking networks in support of global funds transfers. It also includes a series of cash management and trade finance services.

Bank of China provides financial services to individual and corporate clients as well as financial institutions worldwide.
