Bank of East Asia (BEA) has closed a deal with Clear2Pay, a technology provider of payment solutions for financial institutions for the adoption of its Open Payment Framework technology.

Bank of East Asia has over 130 branches in Hong Kong and 70 branches and commercial offices in mainland China. The bank provides retail and commercial banking services to its customers in Hong Kong, Greater China, and overseas. Belgium-based Clear2Pay is a financial technology company whose payment services offer organisations various options for their customers to pay online, including trade-supporting business-to-business environments, e-commerce applications, retail payments and remittance services.
