Spread nationwide, Cielo’s transaction network Points-of-Presence (POP’s) are located in 14 states in Brazil. NewNet’s TC1000 systems are set to be deployed in multiple locations at each POP. This high-speed transaction network has the capability to handle several billion transactions per year and is expected to enable Cielo to enhance its position in merchant acquiring and payment transaction processing.
NewNet’s payment processing product portfolio includes dial, broadband and mobile payment solutions on the TC1000 and AccessGuard platforms. These solutions enable mobile and wireline carriers, payment processors and acquirers, and financial application providers to expand traditional payment transaction services into the mobile and broadband channels. Carriers can deliver new payment services on mobile phones, Bluetooth-enabled devices, NFC equipped mobiles, tablets, and other mobile devices with card readers.
