Western Union has gone live with its global money-transfer service via the financial services provider Banco Bradesco across the latter’s 4,880 banking centre locations in Brazil.

The Western Union global money-transfer service is set to enable consumers to make money transfers in Brazil from abroad and to send money in the near future.
Banco Bradesco has reached an agreement with Western Union to offer the latter’s transfer services at its locations in Brazil in December 2010.

Western Union services are delivered through a combined network of approximately 455,000 agent locations in 200 countries and territories. In 2010, the company completed 214 million consumer-to-consumer transactions worldwide.
