Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has rolled out Everyday Settlement, a payment service which enables business customers to access funds from their CBA merchant terminals the same day the transaction is made, media outlet cio.com reports.

Following this launch, financial institutions will be able to process payments up to 10pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and transfer the money into customers’ accounts by midnight the same day.

CBA has also developed a banking application called Kaching for the Apple iPhone which allows users to pay for their goods and services using wireless internet via Near Field Communications (NFC) technology.

In recent news, CBA has launched a new NetBank app for iPad and Android-powered tablets and a new mobile banking app for iPhone, Android and Windows 7 users.
