Tuesday 20 March 2012 14:58 CET | News

US-based payments processor Certified Payment Processing (CPP) has launched a new line of payment processing terminals dubbed Proxima.

There are two Proxima models available--the Proxima X5 and X2, with a wireless version due to be released later this year.

The Proxima X5 handles mobile payments, contactless payments and EMV smart cards. The terminal is password protected for the administrator, receipts are customizable and the terminals work on either a dial-up or Ethernet connection.

CPP is a provider of credit card processing services and developer of point-of-sale terminals that process payments including debit and credit card transactions, gift cards and cheques.
