Under the terms of the deal, Charge Anywhere is set to serve as CardWare’s principal payment gateway and wireless terminal services provider. The two companies are to jointly provide terminal, carrier, and gateway configuration services including SIM card activation along with certified PIN encryption for plug-n-play delivery. Particularly, the new agreement focuses on the joint distribution of the Spectra GPRS payment terminal, which features several communications options, PCI PED and PA DSS security as well as a secure wireless gateway service.
