Citi, CGI partner for SEPA direct debit offering

Tuesday 18 September 2012 00:30 CET | News

Global business and technology company Logica, now part of CGI Group, a provider of information technology and business process services, has entered a partnership with global financial services company Citi to provide CGI’s Logica Mandate Management service (LMM) to Citi’s institutional client base in Europe.

The LMM service complements Citi’s SEPA Direct Debit offering, allowing clients to be prepared for when the Euro direct debit schemes across the Eurozone are replaced by the SEPA Direct Debit schemes on 1 February 2014.

CGI’s LMM is a platform which allows corporates to migrate to SEPA direct debits. It converts legacy mandates into SEPA direct debit compliant mandates and manages their full-lifecycle, including collections, in line with the SEPA rule books.

In recent news, Citi Commercial Cards has rolled out mobile alerts for cardholders and Program Administrators (PAs) across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
