Global financial services company Citigroup, through its Global Transaction Services unit, is expanding its WorldLink cross-border payment service (WorldLink), into eight new countries for local payments.

Through this expansion, the number of countries in which the Automated Clearing House (ACH) offering is available has grown from 21 to 29. The service is set to be used by file-based clients in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Israel, Jamaica, Morocco, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago and Tunisia.

WorldLink payment service enables Citi’s clients to issue payments in more than 130 currencies, by leveraging an existing network of over 225 partner relationships and accounts.

In recent news, Citi has been mandated by Logitech International, the global provider of personal peripherals for computers and other digital platforms, to handle its cash management operations globally.
