Citi extends CitiDirect Banking Evolution (BESM) service to over 70 countries

Citi has extended its CitiDirect Banking Evolution (BESM) service to over 70 countries with an upgrade that provides enhanced feature functionality and client service experience. By mid-2013, CitiDirect BE is expected to be available in over 95 countries.

CitiDirect BE features include: a new portal and single point of entry with enhanced self-service tools and analytics applications; access to business information via analytics dashboards and reporting; ustomer advances including electronic bank account management (eBAM) and digital identity services; and mobile functionality providing anytime, anywhere access.

Citi’s Transaction Services comprises securities and fund services and treasury and trade solutions, and is an integral part of Citi’s Institutional Clients Group. Transaction Services offers integrated cash management, trade and securities and fund services to multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations. With a network that spans more than 97 countries, Citi’s Transaction Services supports over 75,000 clients.

In recent news, Citi has entered an agreement with GCS Systems, a mobile payment administrator, to launch a mobile payment service dubbed Citi Mobile Collect for small grocery stores and other businesses in the Dominican Republic.
