Credit Agricole CIB partners Experian for payment validation services

Credit Agricole CIB, the corporate and investment banking entity of Credit Agricole, has entered a partnership with global information services company Experian to provide its corporate banking with payment validation and automated data conversion services.

 

As part of the agreement, Crefdit Agricole CIB clients choosing Experian’s services will be able to validate and convert their existing payment records to the required IBAN and BIC formats across the whole SEPA region. Therefore, clients will be able to carry out payments to and from the SEPA region from anywhere in the world. Additionally, the collection of new account information will be upgraded with validation at point of capture available across 228 countries and territories worldwide.

In recent news, Experian has launched a new version of its Detect fraud prevention system in the UK which includes 60 new policy rules and access to a range of new data sources to allow validation of the identity of customers and to combat credit fraud at the point of application.
