CrossCheck completes certification on E3 terminal from Heartland Payment Systems

The applications support authorisations through CrossChecks host for standard check guarantee and electronic check conversion services. E3 encrypts credit and debit card data from the moment a card is swiped or hand-keyed all the way through the processing of the transaction. E3 terminals feature layers of security, employing both tamper-resistant hardware and encryption at swipe or key entry. E3 automates the process of changing the encryption keys that convert sensitive account information to encrypted data.
