Tuesday 5 July 2011 14:05 CET | News

German payment services company easycash, an Ingenico company, has expanded its footprint in Belgium through the acquisition of parts of the assets from BTG, a Belgian Independent Sales Organization (ISO). Ingenico is a French-based provider of payment services.

With this transaction, the Belgian branch of easycash purchases a terminal PoS estate and a dedicated sales team joins the group to deploy its service. In addition to PoS-related services, the commercial offer is expected to include Mastercard and Visa acquiring services from easycash to the merchant.

The new branch of easycash in Belgium will be managed by Michel Seeger, a former Hypercom Benelux executive, under the operational responsibility of Ludovic Houri, Director Transaction Services, Ingenico.

In recent news, Ingenico has extended its partnership with Indonesian financial services company Bank Mandiri to provide the latter with an additional 40.000 units of EFT930G payment terminals in 2011 and early 2012.
