ECS releases "Payment in a box" for North America

ElectraCard Services (ECS), an Indian software provider for electronic payment systems, has released a payment switch dubbed “Payment in a box”.

The integrated solution is aimed at financial institutions, local Independent Service Organizations (ISO), retailers and merchant processors to enable them to adapt to market changes.

ECS ‘Payment in a Box is based on the newly introduced HP Integrity NonStop NS2100 server. electra iTx series platform is a transaction platform, built on open standards and industry practices to support the service oriented architectures (SOA).

ECS is a subsidiary of Opus Software Solutions. ECS is a PCI DSS certified Third Party Processor (TPP) for MasterCard and Visa across the issuing and acquiring spectrum of the electronic payments business. The company allows financial institutions, retailers, finance companies and corporations to electronically process any type of payment transaction, including credit, debit, pre-paid, smart cards and ACH.
