First Command Bank selects NYCE payments network

US electronic payments network operator and FIS company NYCE has been selected by US financial institution First Command Bank as its preferred network for domestic ATM and PIN PoS access.

As a result, First Command Bank is expected to join the NYCE payments network. The bank currently uses FIS’ item processing and credit card processing services. NYCE has over 360,000 ATM locations and 2 million retail locations across the US territory.

Founded in 1997, First Command Bank counts assets of over USD 622 million. The financial institution provides personal and commercial banking services to military personnel and other consumers as a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Command Financial Services.

In recent news , NYCE has entered an agreement with money movement services provider CashEdge to offer Popmoney, CashEdge’s person-to-person (P2P) payment offering, to its more than 3,000 financial institution clients.
