Under the terms of the deal, First Data is set to provide PNC with signature debit, PIN debit and ATM processing services, ATM terminal driving, credit card, small business and home equity loan processing, fraud and collections services as well as remittance processing, prepaid processing, plastic, statement and letter production services. PNC will also transfer additional credit card processing operations to First Data as well as the PIN debit and ATM processing it has gained in the wake of its National City Corp acquisition.
The PNC Financial Services Group provides retail and business banking, residential mortgage banking; and a series of specialized services for corporations and government entities, including corporate banking, real estate finance and asset-based lending.
