As part of this deal, Fiserv customers will be able to develop and implement a prepaid card program. Via this program cardholders will gain access to reload features, including in-branch at the financial institution that issued the card, using ACCEL/Exchange ATMs and via Remote Deposit Capture (RDC). Prepaid issuers will be able to use ACCEL/Exchange Scorecard, a feature already used by financial institutions to track their program against benchmarked expectations.
The ACCEL/Exchange is an interbank network which connects ATMs across the US and Canada, through its subsidiary, The Exchange Canada. The US division is managed by Fiserv.
In recent news, Fiserv has launched its Unified Wealth Management Platform which is set to move all managed account program onto a single managed account platform.
