Wednesday 10 November 2010 11:01 CET | News

United Arab Emirates-based telecommunication services provider FRiENDi Group has selected UK-based mobile financial services company Mi-Pay to add a series of prepaid top-up services to its operations in the Middle East region.

As a result, via Mi-Pay’s platform and direct top-up channel gateway, the new FRiENDi service is set to provide users in the region with an automatic top-up feature when their balances are low. In addition, this service is expected to allow customers to manage prepaid top-ups via the internet, to enable customers to purchase airtime on an ad-hoc basis, as well as to set-up recurring payments at a frequency of their choice.

FRiENDi Group is expected to make available the new Mi-Pay-powered services by the end of Q4 2010.

More recently, Mi-Pay has expanded its Prepaid Payments Gateway to international mobile operators in a bid to extend its services in both developed and developing markets.
