India: APCOB goes live on Polaris banking platform

Laser Soft, a subsidiary of financial technology developer Polaris, has signed a contract with Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (APCOB) to provide the latter with centralized banking services in its 22 District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCB) across the Indian territory.

Under the terms of the contract, Laser Soft’s Intellect banking platform will be deployed at one of the APCOB’s locations and accessed independently by 569 branches and 22 head offices of the DCCBs. Among other functionalities, the new banking solution is set enable individual DCCBs to generate independent reports.

Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank is an India-based scheduled state cooperative bank focused on agricultural and rural development through its cooperatives.
