Keesler Federal Credit Union partners Diebold to upgrade UK ATM network

Wednesday 17 November 2010 10:26 CET | News

US-based financial services provider Keesler Federal Credit Union (KFCU) has signed an agreement with US security systems company Diebold.

Under the terms of the deal, Diebold will enable KFCU to upgrade its automated teller machine (ATM) network in the UK by replacing its current terminals with Diebold Opteva ATMs, powered by the Agilis software. The contract also includes a three-year agreement under the terms of which Diebold will provide maintenance services, leveraging Opteview remote services, Diebold’s remote troubleshooting and diagnostic application.

The Opteview remote service monitors ATMs and initiates a two-way remote session when problems are detected. After assessing the status of an ATM and making a diagnosis, Opteview either fixes the machine or dispatches an engineer with the exact information and parts needed to correct the problem.

Founded in 1947, Keesler Federal Credit Union provides financial services to more than 188,000 members worldwide.
