Wednesday 21 March 2012 11:09 CET | News

Belgium-based payments technology provider Clear2Pay has been selected by European financial services provider Landbouwkrediet to supply its Open Payment Framework technology to its operations in Belgium for the migration of the Centea accounts into the Landbouwkrediet banking systems.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Open Payment Framework will be used as a switch between the target Landbouwkrediet systems and the KBC systems where the Centea accounts currently still reside.

Clear2Pay is a financial technology company focused on providing financial services institutions with electronic payments technology. Clear2Pay operates in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom, Senegal, United States, Australia, China, Malaysia and Singapore. In recent news, Clear2Pay has rolled out the G3 payment service for the Singapore financial services industry on the back of its SOA Open Payment Framework.

Landbouwkrediet has acquired Belgian savings bank Centea from KBC bank in 2011.
