Malayan Bank deploys core banking software from Nucleus

Indian banking and financial software provider Nucleus Software has been awarded a contract by financial services provider Malayan Bank.

Under the terms of the deal, Nucleus Software is set to provide deploy its FinnOne core banking software in nine branches of the Malaysian bank, including the latter’s head office. FinnOne includes a customer acquisition system (CAS), a loan management system, as well as deposits and collections modules which are to be integrated with Malayan Bank’s front and back office functions.

The decision to implement the Nucleus core banking platform is part of the bank’s branch expansion and product diversification program.
