Metro Bank set to acquire SME Invoice Finance

Monday 5 August 2013 11:51 CET | News

UK-based financial institution Metro Bank is set to acquire SME Invoice Finance, a provider of alternative forms of finance and working capital to small and medium-sized companies (SMEs).

In August 2012, Metro Bank has entered a partnership with Computer Services (CSI), a bank technology provider, to upgrade its core banking processing capabilities.

As part of the agreement, Metro Bank has selected CSI as a technology partner to support the bank’s long-term goals for future development. Metro Bank will employ CSI’s NuPoint solution, a core banking platform that supports integrated solutions. By leveraging CSI’s infrastructure, resources and expertise, the bank will eliminate hardware and software investments required for in-house systems. NuPoint also allows banks to establish customized views of information for each user at their individual workstations.
