UK-based financial services provider Metro Bank has signed an agreement with Wincor Nixdorf, a global provider of transaction and payment services for the banking and retail markets, atmmarketplace.com reports.

Under the terms of the deal, Wincor Nixdorf will implement 120 ATMs over two years for Metro Bank. The bank purchased Wincor Nixdorf Pro Cash 1500xe machines, which are cash dispensers that bank officials deployed in the lobbies of three branches that have already opened. The ATMs are equipped with technology to prevent skimming and card trapping.

Wincor Nixdorf’s portfolio includes hardware, software, maintenance, services and consulting solutions, self-service ATMs, multiple check or cash, no-envelope deposit automation solutions, teller cash recyclers, multi-vendor software, ATM monitoring software and ATM security service.
