MoneyGram partners BillingTree to offer PaynCash payment service

US-based money transfer services company MoneyGram has signed an agreement with BillingTree, a US payment processor.

Under the terms of the deal, MoneyGram will provide same-day, cash payment services at MoneyGram’s approximately 35,000 US agent locations under the brand name BillingTree PaynCash. Via the partnership with MoneyGram, BillingTree’s biller customers will be able to collect cash payments through MoneyGram’s network of retail locations. In addition, cash payments will be reported to the biller via MoneyGram’s payment tracking technology.

BillingTree offers billing organizations, healthcare providers and financial lenders a gateway to various options for accepting payments such as ACH and credit card via online, IVR/VRU as well as MOTO (mail and telephone order).

Recently, MoneyGram has forged a partnership with Spanish-language media company Univision Communications.The partnership is set to provide Univision MasterCard Prepaid cardholders with the ability to load their cards at approximately 35,000 MoneyGram agent locations throughout the US. The Univision MasterCard Prepaid Card is a prepaid card offered by Univision.
