MoneyGram, Walmart renew partnership for money transfer services

Global money transfer company MoneyGram has renewed its agreement with US-based multinational corporation Walmart for a period of three years.

Under the new agreement, MoneyGram is set to continue to provide MoneyGram branded financial products including money transfers, bill payment and money orders at Walmart stores across the US and Puerto Rico.

The new contract is effective starting April 2013 and includes MoneyGram committing to investments in technology and ongoing marketing and product innovation.

In recent news, MoneyGram has entered an agreement with Dutch digital security company Gemalto to provide MoneyGram services over Gemalto’s LinqUs mobile payment platform.
