Financial services provider National Australia Bank (NAB) has moved its customer website from an internal legacy system onto the Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud.

After the transition the NAB website was reduced from 10,000 pages down to 2000 pages. Website information is hosted by AWS.

In addition, its health billing website HICAPS has also been moved to Amazon’s public cloud to test the service.

National Australia Bank Group is a financial services organisation with over 12,000,000 customers and 50,000 people, operating more than 1,750 stores and service centres globally.

In recent news, NAB has launched a mobile payment service that allows customers to send, receive and request payments via NFC, QR codes, a mobile phone number, an email address or Facebook.
