National Bank of Omaha picks Misys for trade finance solution

UK-based global application software and services company Misys has signed a deal with the National Bank of Oman (NBO), a financial services provider located in Southwest Asia, to offer the latter its trade finance solution.

The service combines TI Plus, Misys’s back-office system which includes transaction management functionalities, with the Misys Trade Portal, an integrated online system designed to connect the National Bank of Oman’s customers over the internet.

Founded in 1973, the National Bank of Oman is active through 64 domestic branches and 170 ATMs, as well as 5 branches in Egypt and another in the UAE.
