PayPal partners 15 new retailers for in-store payments

PayPal has partnered 15 new retailers to offer its in-store payments service, which enables customers to buy products using their PayPal accounts.

The new partners include toy and juvenile-products retailer Toys “R” Us, US-based department stores JC Penney, book retailer Barnes & Noble, office products supplier, clothing and accessories retailers American Eagle Outfitters, Abercrombie & Fitch, Jos. A. Bank, Aeropostale, furniture retailer Rooms To Go, footwear retailers Foot Locker, Nine West, beverages provider Jamba Juice, musical instrument retailer Guitar Center, direct online and catalog retailer of computers and consumer electronics TigerDirect and retailer of automotive replacement parts and accessories Advance Auto Parts.

PayPal has introduced its offline payment service in January 2012 at US home improvement retailer Home Depot. Customers who want to make a purchase can either enter their mobile number and PayPal pin number or swipe a PayPal card at a payment terminal.
