Piraeus Bank selects Fiserv service for the Egyptian market

US provider of financial services technology Fiserv has signed an agreement with Greek financial services provider Piraeus Bank to provide the latter with its Universal Banking service on the Egyptian market.

Fiserv ‘s Universal Banking from for Piraeus Bank in Egypt features Arabic language options and supports applications for the retail and treasury markets. The service includes the Signature bank platform for retail and commercial banking, treasury and trade functionality, branch support for customer channel management, as well as branch tellering and transaction processing technology.

In January 2009, Piraeus Bank implemented Fiserv’s Universal Banking in its Cyprus operations and it plans to expand its banking solutions across multiple countries.
