Belgium-based payments technology provider Clear2Pay has entered a partnership with financial services provider Rabobank, a subsidiary of Dutch-based banking consortium Rabobank Group, for the provision and implementation of a bank wide payments hub powered by the Open Payment Framework (OPF).

Under the deal, Clear2Pay’s Open Payment Framework will be part of the infrastructure that enables payment processing for the bank’s activities in the Netherlands. Clear2Pay’s Open Payment Framework includes a suite of pre-defined functionalities such as the Bank Payment Hub, imaged cheque processing capabilities, SEPA compliance, international payments and EBPP (electronic bill presentment and payment) as well as remittance and online banking services. The first deliverable SEPA Direct Debit (part of the full SEPA suite), will be available by the end of Q1 2011.

Most recently, Clear2Pay has received full SWIFTReady accreditation for the Open Payment Framework and its derivative payment services. The SWIFTReady Payments accreditation is set to guarantee that the Open Payment Framework meets SWIFT’s standards for message support, message validation and information services integration.

Clear2Pay is a financial technology company focused on providing financial services institutions with electronic payments technology. Clear2Pay operates in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom, Senegal, United States, Australia, China, Malaysia and Singapore.
