Raiffeisen International to deploy over 30,000 Hypercom terminals in Eastern Europe

Vienna-based Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG has entered an agreement with global payment technology company Hypercom.

Under the terms of the deal, the former is to roll out more than 30,000 Optimum card payment terminals and PIN entry devices to merchants based in 15 Eastern European countries. The Optimum T4200/M4200 product suite includes 13 multi-application devices that share the same platform, user interface and software toolkit, providing customers with a range of communication options. Raiffeisen International has also acquired Hypercom Network Access Controllers (NACs).
