Russian financial services provider ZAO Raiffeisenbank has gone live on the Misys Midas Plus 1.4 core banking platform provided by UK-based application software and services company Misys.

Raiffeisenbank is the Russian subsidiary of Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding, which is part of the Austrian RZB Group. Due to the expansion of its services in Russia, where it currently operates over 230 branches, Raiffeisenbank has witnessed particularly high lending and funds transfer volumes as well as increased retail account activity. According to company representatives, this has prompted the financial services provider to migrate to Midas Plus from Misys and deploy the latter’s Midas Plus 1.4 core banking platform.

Misys employs a staff of around 6,000, operates in over 120 countries and currently serves over 1,200 customers in the banking and treasury and capital market segments.
