Sentenial, a provider of SEPA payment services and Steria, a provider of IT-enabled business services, have partnered to deliver SEPA payment services to the European market.

According to the agreement between the parties, Steria will provide consulting services and set up regional hosting facilities to bring Sentenial’s SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) solutions to banks and corporates across Europe.

The two companies have collaborated to deliver a SDD online service with an initial focus on the French market. Based on a Software-as-a-Service model, the service, dubbed Ready4Sepa by Steria, is provided on a pay-per-use basis and allows customers to scale their use as SEPA adoption rates grow.

Sentenial provides direct debit processing services for the direct debit schemes and SEPA to corporate and public sector customers. The company develops and sells EuroDebit application, which enable organizations to manage their debit payments, as well as debit process, including back office reconciliation, straight through processing, risk management, online user interfaces, and reporting.
