SIA-SSB selects BMC Software services for DB2 reorganisation

SIA-SSB, a European information and communication technology provider, has closed a deal with US enterprise management software provider BMC Software under the terms of which the former is to implement the BMC Softwares Mainframe Service Management services.

Via this partnership, SIA-SSB plans to transform its DB2 reorganisation process and make the resources of its critical database card-processing systems effective. The company manages 6.4 billion payment and card transactions every year on behalf of 60 million cardholders. SIA-SSB Payment Card Business Unit manages the processing of debit and credit cards on behalf of commercial banks based in eleven countries across Europe.
