SIBOS 2010: Direct Debit implements SEPA and SWIFT capabilities into PayCentre payments management platform

Monday 25 October 2010 14:56 CET | News

Direct Debit, a UK-based payments-management software provider, has implemented the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) modules into its PayCentre payments-management platform.

PayCentre is a modular payments platform based on Microsoft.NET technology. The platform is set to enable organisations to automate and streamline the lifecycle of credit and debit card, Direct Debit as well as Direct Credit payments processes. With the newly-implemented SEPA and SWIFT functionality, the system will be able to process multiple payment types, including European and international transactions through a single user interface.

Via the SWIFT module integrated in PayCentre, organisations will be able to make international payments through a single system. The application produces payment files in SWIFT format without manual processing and exchanges standardised financial messages with banks and other organisations to transfer payment orders.
