Under the terms of the deal, Absa Group is expected to deploy Transtrack’s CashWebCommunity online management software, which targets cash businesses within the supply chain globally. In addition, Transtrack’s offering is set to provide cost-control over cash for both banks and retailers.
Absa Group offers a range of banking, assurance and wealth-management services. In June 2010, Absa counted 11.5 million customers and 8,885 ATMs.
