Under the terms of the contract, Suhyup Bank has selected the Thales HSM8000 host security modules to secure its NEXTRO project which is set to establish an improved financial system. The project is due for completion in October 2011. The addition of Thales HSM 8000s is expected to provide the cryptographic services that are needed to secure the bank’s financial transactions.
The Thales HSM technology is fully compliant with the financial industry’s security audit requirements. HSM 8000 is certified to FIPS 140-2 level 3 security standard.
