The Co-operative Bank of Kenya deploys Misys BankFusion Universal Banking platform

UK-based application software and services company Misys has entered a partnership with financial services provider the Co-operative Bank of Kenya to provide the latter with its BankFusion Universal Banking platform, covering retail banking, trade finance as well as treasury functionalities.

Under the terms of the contract, the financial institution is set to deploy Misys’ BankFusion Universal Banking system in a bid to increase its product portfolio, enhance the quality of its services as well as expand the bank’s market share.

In recent news, Misys has formed a partnership with Dutch financial services provider Amsterdam Trade Bank (ATB) to provide the latter with its Misys BankFusion Equation core banking system. Based on Misys BankFusion platform, the system is set to enable ATB to expand its banking services portfolio as well as modify current business processes to the bank’s requirements.
