TPS to manage ATM and debit card program in Oman for Bank Saderat Iran

Monday 27 July 2009 15:35 CET | News

Iranian financial services company Bank Saderat Iran (BSI) has selected EFT switch technology and payment processing services provider TPS to manage its ATM and debit card program in Oman.

BSI is set to work directly with magnetic stripe card personalisation company Al Madina, an authorised TPS reseller. Under the partnership, TPS is set to provide BSI with hardware and software services as well as ATM and project management consultancy. The company’s Phoenix service is set to function as unified ATM controller and a debit card switch for the Iranian bank in Oman.

The implementation of Phoenix is expected to provide a basic platform allowing the bank to maintain a single interface for its back-end and core banking systems as well as deploy other ATM-based value-added services.
