TSYS and Alaska Option sign multi-year marketing agreement

Global payment services company TSYS has closed a multi-year strategic marketing agreement with electronic funds transfer (EFT) services provider Alaska Option to provide the latter with its Visa and MasterCard credit and signature debit card programs, PIN-based ATM/POS options as well fraud management services for credit unions.

According to the agreement, TSYS Program Solution, a subsidiary of TSYS which deals with credit unions and other regional financial institutions, is set to offer Alaska Option’s customers such services as product development, new account origination, portfolio management and operating options for consumer and commercial credit cards.

Alaska Option will also provide financial institutions with ATM driving services, the ability to accept an array of cards, a PIN debit point of sale program and a single point of settlement for PIN-based transactions.

Founded in 1983, Alaska Option Services Corporation offers a range of PIN-based debit processing, ATM driving and card production services to financial institutions and credit unions throughout the US.
