TSYS, Scotiabank enter international payments deal

Global payment services company TSYS and financial institution Scotiabank have signed an international payments agreement to provide processing services for Scotiabank’s banking cards portfolio in Mexico.

As part of the agreement, Scotiabank will convert its consumer card portfolio in Mexico to TSYS’ TS2 platform. In addition to processing services, TSYS will provide campaign and data management as well as fraud and risk management tools.

Other terms of the multi-year agreement have not released. TSYS provides merchant payment-acceptance solutions as well as services in credit, debit, prepaid, mobile, chip and healthcare.
