TSYS to provide Swisscard with payment services

Global payment services company TSYS has signed an agreement with Swisscard, a joint venture between Credit Suisse and American Express.

Under the deal, TSYS will provide Swisscard with consumer credit, commercial card and payment related services supported by its TS2 processing platform. TSYS will support Swisscard’s portfolio migration in Q3 2011 from its UK-based data centre. Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed yet.

For the Q3 2010, TSYS has gathered USD 433.2 million in total revenues, an increase of 1 percent over 2009. However, the company’s operating income has witnessed a 10.6 percent decrease when compared to 2009. Basic and diluted earnings per share from continuing operations attributable to TSYS shareholders for Q3 2010 were USD 0.25, down USD 0.05 or 17.1percent, as compared with USD 0.30 in 2009.
