Under the terms of the deal, United Payment Services merchants are set to gain access to ControlScans PCI 1-2-3 compliance offering, available online via the myControlScan.com web-based merchant portal. The latter provides merchants with the tools needed to analyse, remediate and validate PCI compliance.
The tools include the PCI Assessment Questionnaire, a vulnerability scanner, as well as the Security Policy Builder and Security Awareness Training modules.
United Payment Services offers credit and ATM/debit card processing, cheque guarantee services, purchasing card programs and internet electronic commerce capabilities. ControlScan provides PCI compliance and security services for small- to medium-sized e-commerce and retail merchants.
